My Students
I want to support engagement in my special education classroom so that my students love to learn more than ever and can acquire the skills they need to achieve their wildest dreams!
My students are thoughtful and curious 4th graders.
I work with a variety of students with disabilities and each child has unique learning needs. No matter their current skill level, however, each child comes to my classroom ready to learn. I can see their eager desire to learn as they strive to engage with material and seek hands-on opportunities to do so. In our school, I am lucky to work together with my wonderful co-teacher and paraprofessionals to ensure that every student is receiving the best supports they can, across environments. We truly have a community of learners from staff to students, and we are looking forward to having more resources to increase our success and meet our goals!
My Project
My students enjoy hands-on projects that display their creativity and critical thinking. They will participate in projects that demonstrate the skills and ideas we are learning together with the materials provided here. Best of all, we can use these materials in every subject - from math to social studies - and even find connections in between!
As we are now back to classroom learning, it is more important than ever that students have opportunities to move and feel that which they are learning.
The joy they experience in doing so will make their learning experience memorable for a lifetime. We are so excited to busily build and create together this school year!
