My Project
We are in need of a vacuum cleaner so we can vacuum the carpet we sit on daily. As you can imagine, the carpet becomes very messy throughout the day (play-doh, crumbs, pencil shavings, paper scraps, crayons) and we would love to be able to vacuum the carpet throughout the day.
My students love to be helpful!
This vacuum would enable my students to take responsibility for their own actions. A vacuum is an easy and quick way for students to have access to a tool to clean up after themselves. It’s also a great way to help students have pride in their classroom because they are taking part in cleaning up their personal space. It builds empathy for others as well since they are learning to care for a space and clean it up so that others don't have to.
