My Project
I am a special educator working with some wonderful (and wiggly!) third-grade students. These kiddos often fall out of their little plastic chairs in search of vestibular input. Sometimes, they sit slumped with poor posture, making writing more difficult than it already feels for many of them. Other times, they stand hunched over the table or walk around the space, getting distracted.
In the past, when I borrowed some wobble stools from a friend, my students were much happier and more engaged.
The wobble stools did not allow them to slump, and the little bit of movement the stools offered helped them stay in their seats at the table and focus on our work. Sadly, I had to give back the stools I had borrowed.
Please help me give my students' bodies what they need to keep their brains engaged! They will be so grateful!
