Help me give my students the ability to strengthen their hand muscles, work on fine motor skills, and learn to regulate their emotions through the use of sensory bins, sensory sand, and other hands-on activities.
With our three and four year old special education kiddos, working on fine motor skills is a top priority. In our classroom, we work with a lot of hands-on materials so our students can have fun while working on a variety of skills. We plan on using the sand, toys, and sensory bins to expand on these skills daily.
One of our goals is to have fun everyday and let our students get the full experience of preschool, so we strive to use as many fun, hands-on toys and materials as possible.
