Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The classroom participates in daily SEL instruction which may include read-alouds and discussions, games, instructional activities, etc. The goal is to support all students as a whole as well as individually with critical life skills. We are requesting instructional materials, books, and activities to help increase their knowledge of critical SEL skills that will enable them to access academic curriculum and day-to-day functional and critical life skills.

On a daily basis, students in our classroom participate in and engage in problem-solving, self-regulating, and implementing coping skills and strategies.

Students are provided instruction and practice on the implementation and use of a variety of strategies that enable them to interact with peers positively and to also engage positively in instructional activities within the general education curriculum.
