My Project
Students at this age are eager to find a book that they love to read. These materials will help these students find a book that is interesting to them and create a foundation for a love of reading.
Too often I hear students say, "I can't find a book that is interesting." By having new set of books that they can continue to read one after another it will encourage kids to continue to have a book to read.
Social Emotional Learning tools will also help kids regulate their emotions. Kids have a hard time understanding what they are feeling and act out. If a child understands what and why they are feeling the way that they are and are given tools to regulate they can be productive during the school day.
These tools will both help students be successful from day to day as they are able to stay focused and excel in learning through reading. These tools will be able to be used from year to year to continue to help support kids in these areas.
