My Project

Even with school provided breakfast and snack my students spend much of the morning feeling hungry. The beginning of the week is always the most challenging. It's difficult for them to focus on learning and they have more behavioral outbursts when they are feeling hungry.

When my students can rely on getting a snack, we have far less emotional outbursts and learning can continue.

I myself find it extremely difficult to focus when my stomach is rumbling, so I know how difficult it must be for my students. We provide as many snacks and chances to eat throughout the day as we can, but it will be much easier with your support!
