Handwriting Resources for Kindergarten

My students need individual handwriting books and a teacher's guide to help them with their letter and number formation.

My Students

Kindergarten is one of the most magical learning environments. There is so much discovery and new learning happening every day. This is the year that many of our students will learn how to write!

We have an incredible group of Kindergarteners who have recently learned that they can use words and pictures to convey meaning.

They are eager to become authors of narratives, letters, posters, poems, and informational texts (to name a few!). We have all embarked on the adventure of starting a new school together. Our school is in its first year of operation and we are still determining the curricular resources we need like handwriting books for our youngest students!

My Project

The Handwriting Without Tears curricular resources will provide our Kindergarten team with the instructional materials to help teach our students accurate letter and number formation. The program is engaging, multi-sensory, and easily adjustable to meet our students' needs. We are requesting two teacher's guides (one for each classroom) and class sets of individualized workbooks.

Providing daily instruction and practice on handwriting will benefit our students for the rest of their writing lives.

These materials will increase our students' confidence and comfort around writing. Handwriting Without Tears will help students develop positive handwriting habits so that their love of writing can only grow deeper in the future!
