Handwriting and Spelling Goals

My Project

These lined whiteboards will be key for helping me and my grade partner teach our second graders how to spell during our phonics and phonemic awareness lessons. This will also help them work on using neat handwriting. Our students love using whiteboards because they are not a permanent surface. When they make a mistake on the whiteboard, it's not a big deal, they can just erase it and try again! I think these will help ease the anxiety of spelling students and be an effective way to teach spelling from the sounds we hear.
