Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students come into the classroom ready to learn and to test their ability in math. They look forward to getting the knowledge that they need. My goal is to have my students on grade-level and excited about their growth in mathematics before leaving my classroom. I want students to see the world around them using math to help solve issues that may arise.

My students are eager to learn and are looking for an outlet to show the knowledge that they have gained throughout their academic lives. My school is a family. All of the students come to the school prepared to be part of a family that is always growing and finding the best ways to support its members.
My Project
These math manipulatives will support students in learning through doing. Students will have the opportunity to engage in their own mathematical thinking using some of the manipulatives.
Students will also be able to check their own understanding through the use of the Versatile.
This will support students in the building and at home as they are able to discuss their responses and ask questions based on their understanding. In order to support multiple levels of students, I will be providing students with multiple levels of work in order to continue pushing students to do and be at their best.
