My Students
I am a teacher at a preschool located in Alabama. Many of my students come from low socioeconomic status backgrounds and face daily hardships as a result. I make it a point to ensure that they leave all of their problems and worries at the door. I work hard to make sure that when they enter into my classroom, they are focused on learning so that they can become productive contributing members to society.
My students love learning because I strive to make it a fun and enjoyable journey for them.
They love science and experimenting with new things through hands-on means. They are self-motivated to discover all they can in order to be successful in life.
My Project
Every child should be able to learn how to use devices and master technology. We have Dash and Dot robots that are controlled using IPads. Teaching younger children how to master computer skills and code our robots are fascinating for a four year old.
Dash and Dot are real robots that will teach my students lifelong skills like coding in a fun and hands-on way.
My Students can interact with Dash and Dot in a number of ways. It presents students with hundreds of projects, challenges, puzzles, and much more.
My students need iPads to utilize the free apps that go along with Dash and Dot. With the iPads they can make the robots sing, dance, and navigate all around the classroom.
