Hands-on Student Led Learning in Kindergarten

My Project

My kindergarten students are eager to engage in self-directed learning! The materials and supplies I am requesting will help them do just that! The community helpers books will allow my students to engage in project-based interactive learning. They will use the books to conduct an independent research project about community helpers. After researching what community helpers do, they will make a real world application to what they have learned by conducting their own community helper project at school. The reading materials will be used to support my students during reading centers. They will use the materials to independently grapple with the their learning goals using hands-on and interactive learning.
