My Project
I am requesting, games, puzzles, and building materials to engage my students. These materials will provide students with the opportunity to grow their brains with new critical thinking skills, higher-order thinking skills and creativity. These materials were selected by students as learning actives that they would prefer to engage with. My goal with these materials is to give middle schoolers something to look forward to using throughout the school day so that their curiosity and love for learning remains strong.
My young scientists and mathematicians want to participate in experiential learning through independently designed science projects about how their brains learn.
They also want to test how different environments, genders, and other classifications effect learning and performance. With these materials, students will be engaged and motivated to design high-interest, testable projects where they can challenge classmates to carry out these puzzles and games in various environment.
My students are special because of the diverse populations that they represent. They are gifted and talented students, multi-language learners, students with specialized education. My students are kind, helpful and motivated, so I know that they will be grateful for and care for these materials that let the explore beyond the curriculum.
