My Project

This year, my role as a teacher changed a little bit as I changed my school.

Unlike previous years, I will be teaching all subjects.

With that being said, I need materials for Science and Social Studies. Starting in October, my students will be diving into Geology in Science, yet my bookshelf for Science is still empty. I need engaging and interesting books for Science to have students read and learn alongside the curriculum.

My students and I already had a discussion about what kind of books they want to read when it comes to Science. They wanted to learn more about the origin and habitats of animals, human life cycles, land formation, etc. I have requested books along those lines to provide my students with books they will be interested in.

I have also included some teamwork-building STEM decorations in the cart as well. Every Friday during morning meeting time, my students participate in some kind of teamwork-building exercise. We discussed that it would be amazing to decorate our Science bookshelf with STEM-related decorations. Thus I have also included those 3D metal earth products for students to make as a team and showcase those on top of the bookshelf.
