it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are eager, hands-on math learners. They are excited to explore the world of 3D printing and designing and using it in our STEM fields. We use project based learning and labs to design and then print our creations. Students' skills are improving, but to keep us progressing, we need to keep our supplies stocked. My students have been working with a 3D printer in our classroom and during after school lab time, but are in need of supplies to keep their creativity flowing. When our creativity is flowing during our projects, so is the material. My project is requesting 3D printing filament and other lab necessities to keep our projects and labs flowing productively.
With access to various printing materials, students will be able to practice and perfect their skills.
The materials requested include various 3D printing supplies like filament, black lights for glow filament, shelves to display our work and wrapping material to wrap up our end result projects. With access to various printing materials, students will be able to practice and perfect their skills. With these materials, I plan to teach my classes how to design 3D prints using online software. The supplies help students learn skills that will be helpful far beyond their high school years.
