My Students

The students in my classroom are 7th and 8th grade students. They are in my class for STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics). These students come to my class to learn about 21st century skills, and enjoy learning. STEAM can be a very fun subject with plenty to do. Students get to use their creative side - which is very important for middle school students. They are begging to use their talents, have fun, and enjoy learning.

The students in my classroom enjoy working each day with hands-on lessons, activities, and experiments.

My Project

These materials will give my students meaningful experiences in the classroom and gain skills to succeed in the real world. Students will be able to create with their own hands and give the material meaning. Students will create a plan beforehand, see their plan out, then look back and see/talk about what they might change if they did it again. We can discuss real world issues, like dirty drinking water. We can talk about how they as students can fix this. I want them to feel that they can do anything and change the world.

Students will be able to use these materials to develop science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics skills.
