This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are amazing! They are like my second family. I teach in a low-income school with many students coming from poverty. This does not mean that they should not get to experience activities like so many other students at other schools. Sometimes we forget the "Art" in STEAM. I have many artistic students who would absolutely love the opportunity to design a fun and engaging 3D sand project.

Students love hands-on material to bring out their artistic side.

These kinetic sand designs are going to be amazing! When I showed them to my students they were so excited to see this project come through. Many times my students need the opportunity to design projects that bring joy to them. These fit that bill. Thanks for your consideration, and we look forward to a rewarding experience for my students. Best!
