This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My young students absolutely love science. The more hands-on, the better. We have been researching birds in class and soon we will be researching animal life cycles. These requested science supplies will give my students the opportunity to dissect owl pellets, learn vocabulary related to this experience, and extend the learning that has already been taking place. The butterfly life cycle materials will give my students the opportunity to observe, firsthand, the life cycle of a butterfly.

Hands-on science exploration provides an impactful way for elementary students to engage their minds while adding fun to their learning.

My young students will be thrilled to have the chance to engage in these explorations.
