Hands on Science

My students need 1 Animals Activity Tub and a Feel & Discover Animals Bag.

This project is fully funded

I have a wonderful class with six children. There is another class for children with Autism next door with five students. Both classes share materials and work together collaboratively to provide the best education for our students.

We often make our own materials for our students who require adaptions to the regular curriculum, so when we find educational materials that we know will work for our students, we try everything we can to get these materials for our students.

These materials have been used by other schools and come highly recommended. The Animals Activity Tub has standards based activities covering all subject areas. These tubs are great for integration of science into other subject areas. The Feel and Discover Bags are great for children with autism who need to use their senses to understand the world around them. These two resources use hands on techniques to teach science themes. This will benefit our students who explore the world around them with their senses.

Your help will ensure that my students gets hands on work with science themes. They will be able to use their senses to explore these themes. It will mean more to them than any story or worksheet that comes from the book.
