Hands-on Science! Supporting Innovative Thinking Through STEM!

My students need reusable materials so that we are able to do hands-on science! When I accepted this position, I had no idea, there would not be ANY funding provided to support my students. Please help!

Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

I have the best job in the world! I am a Science Specialists in a very diverse, Title I school. We have students from all over the world, as well as a large population of students will special needs. We have over 700 students, and this is the first year that our school has a K-5 Science teacher!!

I want to foster a passion, and love for Science, as well as helping students understand how Science is PIVOTAL to well....everything!

My Project

This Experiment of the Week Science Lab will help over 700 students foster and develop a love for science! As a STEM Lab teacher, I want my little scientists to become out-of-the-box thinkers that are able to construct hypotheses, develop procedures, and fluidly move through the Scientific Method, without even knowing that they are doing so.

Having so many students makes it difficult to always provide materials out of pocket, so this kit would make SUCH a big difference!

It is reusable and allows for the students to have materials in FRONT of them, so they are able to complete the experiments, as sometimes I can only do demonstrations for lack of materials.
