Help me give my students new circuits and energy equipment! These items are great for hands-on learning and will help students learn all about energy and how it works!
I have 110 amazing 5th graders. They are excited about science and enjoy doing hands-on work and experiments. They enjoy learning with games, and they are always creating new ways to play games with their science facts. They also love to sing their hearts out to a good song about lab safety, properties of matter, or even energy.
They are learning to use their hands and their minds to figure out how the world around them works.
I enjoy watching them use their supplies to create new things or come up with new ideas.
In my classroom, we learn together. We learn by experimenting. We learn by doing. We learn by trying again and again until we succeed. I am amazed at what my students can and have accomplished when given the opportunity to succeed!
My Project
Circuits, games, and magnets will allow my students to dive into the world of science. During our units on electricity, they will be able to try their hand at circuits. I know their faces will light up when they figure out how to complete a circuit! I will use the variety of circuits to make sure they have plenty of experience building a complete circuit.
My students love a challenge and will love all the games and hands-on activities.
I will use the games to enhance their scientific vocabulary. They enjoy a good competition to see who can memorize their vocabulary the fastest! I will use the clipboards and marker boards as part of my Jeopardy and quiz games. They also allow them to travel around the room and answer questions!
