Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This project aims to provide MTMS 7th grade Sharks with engaging, hands-on learning experiences in environmental science, chemistry, and health. By funding these cow eyes, stethoscopes, and other supplies you will keep our students engaged and I promise to share with the rest of the science department which is more than 900 students.
I attended an incredible Forrestry training this past summer and I am thrilled to share some lessons that not only speak for the trees but share the ever present climate crisis our kids will take the mantle to create solutions.
All the activities I have in mind align with 7th-grade standards and promote a deeper understanding of the interconnectedness of environmental and health issues. Your support will help students develop critical thinking skills and foster a sense of stewardship for their environment and health.
