My Project
This upcoming school year I will be teaching science to up to 30 6th graders. This project will provide my students with the hands-on science tools they need to explore, experiment, and truly experience science—not just read about it. From lab equipment and measurement tools to engaging experiment kits, these materials will turn our classroom into an active science lab where students can ask questions, test hypotheses, and find answers themselves.
Science is best learned through doing.
Hands-on learning helps students develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration skills. These resources like a light meter and rock samples will make abstract concepts tangible. By bringing real-world science into the classroom, I hope to inspire my students to see themselves as scientists, engineers, and innovators.
