This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My junior high science students are curious, eager learners who thrive when given hands-on opportunities to explore the world around them. They come from diverse backgrounds and love engaging in experiments and interactive learning. However, our classroom lacks many basic supplies needed to support their scientific discoveries.

To provide my students with the best learning experience, I am requesting essential materials to enhance our science lessons.

Basic Classroom Supplies: Paper, folders, and colored pencils will help students stay organized and creatively document their findings.

Hands-on Lab Materials: Batteries for experiments, zip-lock baggies for specimen collection, and peanut germination kits to study plant growth will bring science to life.

Storage and Organization: Storage bins will keep materials accessible and organized, ensuring smooth lab activities.

Technology for Learning: A DVD player will allow us to watch educational videos that reinforce key science concepts.

Exploration Tools: Grabber tools will enable students to conduct experiments involving motion, force, and environmental studies.

These materials will help my students actively engage in science and develop critical thinking skills. By supporting this project, you will provide them with the tools they need to explore, question, and grow as young scientists.

Thank You!

Your generosity will make a direct impact on my students' learning experiences, helping them develop a love for science that will last a lifetime!
