Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are a group of vivacious, curious middle schoolers with Autism Spectrum Disorder who love to learn and explore the world around them. They are most successful when learning is hands-on, visual, and experiential. Unfortunately, due to their varying abilities, they are not often given the opportunity to fully engage in meaningful science lab experiences.

This project will provide accessible, adaptive science materials that allow my students to actively participate in structured, sensory-friendly lab activities.

With the right tools and supports, these eager learners can safely explore scientific concepts, ask questions, and develop a genuine excitement for science.
