Hands- on Rocks and Minerals Lesson

Help me give my students a great hands-on rocks and minerals lesson! With flexible seating my students will be able to work comfortably around the classroom and not be stuck in their seats all day.

My Students

My North Carolina students are very creative and are always eager to learn new things. They love to experience new activities and learn best from hands-on projects. Most of my students are artists and I love to see them progress in their work. I urge them to always grow as an individual and to practice what they learn. Practice is key!

With Covid-19, many students are just starting to get back into the routine of being in an in-classroom learning environment.

Being a first-year teacher, I would be so appreciative to have more tools to help them in this transition.

My Project

As a first year teacher I do not have many materials to use for hands-on lessons. My students learn best hands-on and love Science. With my Teacher Pay Teachers gift card and rocks and minerals set, I will be able to create those hands-on lessons.

The flexible seating will give them the opportunity to work around the classroom in groups instead of being in their seats all day.

I have heard great things about these surf desks and would love for my students to be able to use them for many years. Thank you!
