This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are intelligent, caring, and kind individuals. They are from a predominantly Native American and Hispanic community. Covid 19 has definitely created gaps in their learning. They have been through a year and a half in a virtual classroom. In addition, most have had to miss school multiple days of school due to quarantine and/or illness. With your help, they will get the hands-on materials to fill in the learning gaps and get a solid foundation in Math and Reading. These materials will help them with the skills that will be needed to be successful in 3rd grade.
This classroom project was brought to life by Arizona Department of Education.
