Hands-on Resources for Us

Help me give my students magnetic manipulatives, a laminator and card stock, for hands-on resources to promote their educational experience.

My Students

Our school is nestled in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. Our community relies heavily on the coal industry. Our small community was hit hard when coal started declining. School should be a fun place for students to escape the worries of everyday life.

My students enjoy hands-on learning experiences.

They love to participate in fun, innovative ways of learning new skills. Students should have every possible resource available to them to ensure they are successful in their academic career. My students are eager to please and love hands-on activities.

We are educating leaders of tomorrow, so, as educators, it is our responsibility to teach to their abilities.

My Project

My students need hands-on resources to help them become successful in the classroom. My special needs students needs resources to help cement the skills in their memory. The Didax Magetic resources such as letters and number lines will help the students gain a better understanding with tactile objects in their hands. They need to be able to touch what they are talking about to help make a connection in their minds.

Hands-on learning is more engaging for students and helps them make a better connection with their lesson.

The resources requested would help the students as well as make learning fun!
