This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Every day is a great day as an educator. As a special education teacher, I have the chance to work with students who are at many different learning levels and abilities.

My students are so loving and welcoming to the ideas of learning and the new people they encounter every day.

All of the children are hard-working in all aspects of school and truly love having hands-on activities. Some of their favorite activities include web-based learning assignments, reading, and sporting events.

I appreciate you taking the opportunity to consider us for a donation. We truly appreciate you giving us a moment of your time to review our classroom needs.

My Project

Classroom learning is much more than paper and pencil. To engage my readers, I would like to incorporate activities that not only help them learn to become better readers, but also allow them to work on their motor skill development.

The resources that I am looking to get funded for my classroom will help students do more hands on activity work that focuses on building and social interaction.

For example, the Fast-paced Word Building Game will give students the chance to build with their hands and challenge others to do the same while thinking of new words to create. The Magnetic Toys will allow opportunities for students to engage in imaginative play with their peers.
