Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are students with special needs. The majority of them are autistic. They are learning, but they are learning in different ways and different rates. There are a lot of visuals, manipulatives, books, and activities that are hand made. My students needs a lot of hands-on activities and visuals to help them learn. To ensure durability, a lot of learning materials are laminated. I use the same materials year after year but after an extensive use, there is some damage. Materials are either remade or repaired. I’m always adding on extra visuals and individualized visuals for the students, so the glue and laminating pushes would help me continue to do this for my students.
