Hands-On Phonics in First!

Help me give my students magnetic letters, card stock, and laminating sheets for phonics instruction.

My Project

With these materials I have requested, I would be able to provide interactive whole group lessons with our phonics curriculum, enhancing my students' word building skills as well as their reading skills. The magnets would be used so students can manipulate the sounds in words, having active participation in our lessons together. The laminating sheets and cardstock would be used to create reusable games to enhance literacy skills during small group and would be used during independent reading centers as well. Overall, I hope to reach the varying learning styles of all of my students, by providing as many hands-on learning experiences as I can.
