This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our music students benefit greatly from a hands-on musical experience in school. We will use our bucket drumming kits to practice rhythm, motor skills, memory and routine, team work, and many more skills that are vital to student development. Many students do not have access to instruments at home, nor do they have the space to play around with larger instruments like the drum/ball kit. This gives students a unique chance to explore music making through creation and play. A small set will allow for students to practice sharing, watching and evaluating their peers.

We hope these tools will help us to learn and grow in our musical and sharing skills!
