My Project
Being able to touch and manipulate materials is essential for learning most math concepts for students. Many of my students are not able to visualize abstract concepts so giving them real, solid, examples that they can handle and use to solidify their understanding is a real game changer for them!
Since the Covid pandemic began, our students' math scores have declined. Not being able to share materials and touch them when necessary has had a larger impact on learning than anyone could have foreseen. These individual manipulatives will make a huge difference to my students and their futures.
