My Students

Students that enter my classroom are bright, young individuals that come from a variety of backgrounds. My school has a very high free lunch ratio. Many students in my school struggle to bring a pencil or paper to class. My school has a garden that students have the chance to work in.

I believe every student can be successful.

In my classroom, students are taught to work hard every day no matter what they are facing in life. I believe that every student is able to overcome and triumph. Many of my students rise to my expectations through their behavior and classwork.

My Project

The items requested in my project will help bring my science classroom to life. I have requested a cross section model of a plant for our plant unit. This will allow me to show the students an actual model instead of having a model drawn on paper. The solar robot would allow my students to see how solar energy truly can create power/movement.

I have many students that would love to be able to bring science to life.

The pendulum would be used when we teach energy to help students understand mechanical energy. Many of my students are into coding and they would love to be able to actually code a robot instead of always coding on the computer. The pens will be used in their science notebook for colorful drawings.
