Help me give my students engaging, hands-on learning centers that build foundational skills, early math, language development, and fine motor strength. These tools will help my kindergartners grow into confident, capable learners through play-based exploration and interactive activities.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I love how curious, enthusiastic, and eager kindergarten students are to learn! Each day, they come to school full of energy and excitement, ready to explore the world around them. They thrive when they have hands-on, engaging materials that make learning feel like play. I am moving to a kindergarten for the next school year and want to make sure I have many engaging hands on materials for my students.
The learning kits and manipulatives in this project will help create interactive centers focused on essential early learning skills like letter recognition, word building, counting, math, and language development.
These materials will also support fine motor growth through activities like sorting, building, and manipulating objects.
Having access to these tools will allow my students to work independently and in small groups, reinforcing what we learn in whole-group instruction and helping them build confidence, focus, and a love for learning. These centers will be used daily and will make a lasting impact on my classroom!
