This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The math manipulatives and games will transform abstract concepts into tangible, hands-on experiences, helping students grasp fundamental math skills more effectively. These tools will support different learning styles and ensure students can develop a deeper, more intuitive understanding of math. The goal of this project is to create a hands-on, interactive math learning environment where students feel confident and excited about problem-solving

By incorporating manipulatives and games, I aim to improve conceptual understanding, increase engagement, and build a positive attitude toward math.

I also want to support diverse learning needs, making math accessible and enjoyable for all students. My students are curious, hardworking, and eager to learn, but many struggle with traditional math instruction.

My students thrive when they can see, touch, and interact with math concepts, and they love opportunities to learn through play and collaboration. They bring unique perspectives and creativity to the classroom, and I want to provide them with the tools they need to develop confidence in their math abilities.
