My Project

I need math games for my students to practice their math skills!

Ever since COVID students are coming in less prepared for kindergarten.

They have not been to preschool or they were home with parents or caregivers. It is important they have every opportunity to learn. This means learning with all of their senses. They especially need to use manipulatives in learning math because they need to make the abstract concrete. It is hard for us to remember what it is like to not understand a number or concept, but for young children just learning these skills, the more concrete the skill is, the better they will learn it and retain the information. We will use these materials in guided math and in centers.
