My Students

I teach kids who are wildly curious about how the world works and the creatures in it. This year, they are really upping their game in math and science in 3rd grade. They have started learning their multiplication facts and are really enjoying our hands on science lessons.

We look forward to continuing to grow as some of the "big kids" in our school.

I am excited to help them grow as learners and productive humans. They have wonderful potential an have already made great strides.

My Project

My students will be able to handle the Hand2mind 3D geometric solids and have a concrete experience as they learn about angles, edges, sides, and vertices. This will make a huge difference in their acquisition of geometry knowledge and address a deficit that we have noticed in standardized and classroom assessments. The Boley boards will save so much money as I will have to rely less on expensive dry erase markers! I am sure the kids will find them more engaging than their white boards. I love the large, colorful fact cards and games that we will use to make multiplication more interesting.
