My students need hands-on manipulatives such as dice and counters to learn about math in a fun, exciting way.

Hooray! This project is fully funded
I teach struggling students mathematics skills. They often believe they will never be good at math. It is my job to teach them that math can be fun and that they can do it.
My students are in grades young fives through fourth grade.
I service many different needs from learning how to count, to multiplying fractions and everything in between. I love watching the light bulb moment when my students understand a concept for the first time.
My students will use these resources to practice math skills. They will have fun counting, adding or multiplying numbers on dice. They will practice making numbers with base ten stamps and counting using giant magnetic base ten frames. My little ones, and big ones, will love using teddy bear counters to help solve their equations. The materials I picked are very versatile and can be used in countless activities across many grade levels.
Our project will make a difference as students will be able to practice math in fun ways.
Often times, struggling students just need to be taught a new method in order to master math skills. Your donation will provide materials that can be used for years to come.
