My Project
This project is designed to enhance the math learning experience of 5th-grade students by combining printed visual resources, interactive manipulatives, and motivational rewards. With the use of the Canon PIXMA MegaTank G3270 printer, vibrant and engaging math worksheets will be produced to support small group instruction. These materials will help students practice and build fluency in fundamental operations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
By combining visual learning, hands-on practice, and positive reinforcement, this project will support deeper understanding, increase student engagement, and help every learner grow in math.
To bring math concepts to life, the classroom will be equipped with hands-on tools including magnetic ten frames, fraction towers, place value blocks, and pattern blocks. These manipulatives allow students to visualize abstract concepts in fractions, geometry, and place value, making math more concrete and easier to understand.
To keep students engaged and excited about learning, incentives such as Frito Lay chips and Kool-Aid Jammers will be used as occasional rewards for participation and effort. These simple treats create a fun and encouraging environment where students are motivated to do their best.
