My Students
My students are bright and eager to challenge their minds. They look forward to coming to school to learn something new everyday. They love to read and talk about what they learn. I have a very diverse class and it's great to see my students learning from each other regardless of race, gender, ethnicity and social class. These students deserve the opportunity to expand their knowledge. Thank you for taking the time to support these wonderful children. We will appreciate any support you can provide.
My Project
The EngageNY Manipulative Kit is a great math teaching tool. It engages students with hands-on learning of mathematics. Currently our teachers share a grade level set between 7 teachers. It would be great to have our own class set since we're usually all teaching the same lessons on the same day.
The kit includes attribute shapes, tiles, tangrams, scales, and balances.
Having all of these materials, will allow for clearer interpretation of the course material. Students will be able to physically work out the problems with the manipulatives and have fun doing it. Thank you for your time and consideration. Any size donation will be greatly appreciated.
