My Students
Help our class! We need a listening center that focuses on listening and math skills using hands-on materials!
We have 44 eager second grade students always ready to learn.
They attend a small charter school in southern California where they learn language arts, math, science, social studies, music, art, and, luckily, dance education every day! They come every day wearing many hats throughout the days. They visit many different teachers, get to work in small groups and, in some cases, get one-on-one time with teachers. We all collaborate, share, and learn.
My Project
Math can reach students in so many ways. Some students learn what is presented in a snap! Some students need more time or perhaps more visuals. Some students are auditory learners and others work best with manipulatives. I am requesting materials to assist all those who could benefit from manipulatives and others who could benefit from a listening center. Students will be able to count money and practice telling time with a hands-on listening center. With some headphones and a hands-on listening center pack, our students will have access to more resources at school!
