They love knowing that their projects aren't just temporary assignments, but meaningful pieces of their learning journey that can be kept, shared with their families, and revisited with pride.\r\n\r\nThroughout the year, my students create multiple math projects that build toward assessments, reflect skill mastery, or provide creative breaks from testing. With your support, I am now able to laminate projects that showcase student growth over time, turning them into personalized math books that highlight individual goals and achievements. These laminated pieces also help maintain a clean, organized classroom environment, allowing materials to be reused safely and efficiently.\r\n\r\nAs we move forward, students will continue selecting their strongest assessments and projects to add to their math memory books—items they can include in an educational portfolio or simply treasure as reminders of how much they've grown. Because of you, they now have access to hands-on science materials aligned to the Common Core that bring learning to life. Elmer's glue is supporting daily projects, while incentive stickers and multiplication chart stickers are helping reinforce effort, confidence, and mastery.\r\n\r\nThese materials are helping create a classroom environment filled with focus, engagement, and joy. Thank you!\r\n\r\nAlthough we still have some of the pretzels and fruit snacks left, we began giving them to the kids right away during the beginning of the year diagnostics and to tide the kids over on Wednesdays, when there is a long stretch between their morning recess and lunch time. Thank you! \r\n\r\nThe chart paper and markers are being used every week in our reading, writing and social studies units. Fortunately the anchor charts we create stay up for at least one unit but some of our writing and vocabulary anchor charts stay up for a good chunk of the year. Thank you! \r\n\r\nI am convinced that the Clorox wipes, paper towels and tissues you provided helped us maintain excellent attendance by catching the runny noses before they dripped all over and sanitizing away the germs before they spread. Thank you! \r\n\r\nI know this was not a glamorous project, but the everyday supplies you provided for our classroom is a gift that keeps on giving. Your gifts are supporting my students in learning and helping them to stay nourished and healthy as we engage in our day to day activities. Because of your donations, I was able to provide my students with flexible seating options, including stools and standing desks, which have already made a noticeable impact on their focus and engagement. These additions have created a more dynamic and student-centered learning environment, allowing me to better support my students through small-group instruction. Your generosity has truly transformed our classroom into a space where all students can thrive.\r\n\r\nIn addition to improving our classroom setup, your donations also allowed me to provide snacks for my students—something that may seem small but makes an incredible difference in their ability to learn. Many of my students come from low-income families and often arrive at school without food from home. As a teacher in a low-income district, I know firsthand how often educators reach into their own pockets to meet these basic needs, but because of you, I didn't have to. Your support means my students can focus on learning instead of hunger, and that is an invaluable gift.\r\n\r\nYour kindness has not only provided essential resources but has also shown my students that there are people out there who truly care about their success and well-being. You have made a real difference in their lives, and I am endlessly grateful. Thank you for believing in my students and in the power of education.
