My Project
In our second-grade classroom, math is more than numbers—it's about discovery, problem-solving, and building confidence. My students are enthusiastic learners who benefit greatly from hands-on activities that make abstract math concepts feel real and understandable.
To help my students master essential skills like telling time, understanding place value, and developing math fact fluency,
I’m requesting a collection of engaging math manipulatives and games. These tools will allow students to work independently, in pairs, or in small groups while reinforcing key skills through play and exploration.
Here’s what we’re excited to receive:
Learning Resources Classroom Clock Kit – to practice telling time in a visual, interactive way.
Number Line Slide Boards – to support number sense, addition, and subtraction strategies.
Counters & Magnetic Ten Frames – to build strong place value understanding and fact fluency.
Place Value Wipe Boards – to give students frequent, low-prep practice with number concepts.
Math Tower Games & Time Grab & Play Game – to build fluency through fun, engaging game play.
These tools will bring math to life, support various learning styles, and help my students build the foundational skills they need to succeed.
