My Project

My students will use the teddy bear counters and unifix cubes for hands on sorting. Students may select their favorite manipulative to practice one to one counting. Students will be able to listen to our math read alouds and retell the stories using the animal mainpulatives.

The math manipulatives will engage our young learners and give hands on practice with newly acquired math skills.

We will be able to make patterns, create groups, sort, classify, and count. The materials will be used multiple ways to make our math time more concrete and cement our learning.
