This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach 2nd grade students who are eager to learn and grow each day. Math can be a tough subject for many students, but with the right tools, it can become an exciting and empowering experience. That’s why I’m requesting a variety of math manipulatives to help my students understand key concepts in a fun, hands-on way.

Play money for financial literacy and real-world math skills
Timelines to help with sequencing and understanding elapsed time
Additional visual and tactile tools to support learning through multiple senses
