This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I am a teacher in a low-income and high-poverty school district. Our school is located in the Bronx. My students are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom. My students are eager to learn, but we do not have all of the materials for them to succeed. Despite the many challenges they face, I am looking to keep things simple and provide my students with creative and meaningful learning experiences.

I may not be able to control their home lives, but I can certainly control their experiences during the school day.

With teaching remotely, I need to provide my students will all the visuals to make the most out of this year. I will do everything in my power to help them be successful this year and fully ready for next year.

My Project

I have a wonderful group of inquisitive learners who are eager to explore their creativity and independence. The LCD Writing Tablet for Kids will be an amazing addition to the writing center. The hand2mind ColorMix Sensory Fidget Tubes, Anxiety Relief Toy and hand2mind Sensory Fidget Tubes, Anxiety Relief Toy, Occupational Therapy Toys, Fidget Toys for Kids, Kids Sensory Toys for Sensory Play, Play Therapy Toys, Calm Down Corner Must Haves will be amazing additions to the science and discovery center.

My goal is to provide my students with all of the tools and resources necessary to succeed and I believe these materials will greatly benefit our classroom.
