This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As my students begin a brand new school year, and its the first time in school for many of them I want to provide them with the resources to help them meet their needs. I want to provide them with the resources to help them self-regulate, understand their emotions, and find ways that will help them to calm down and focus within the classroom. The students will use these resources when they go into the calming down corner of the classroom. I want to create an environment where the students are able to meet their needs and also help them learn.
