My students need rhyming games, math games, and sight word games to improve their phonetic and math fluency. These skills are necessary to becoming a successful student.

My Students

My students are eager to learn, however, have short attention spans. If I create a classroom packed full of hands on activities that keep the students engaged in their learning, I feel the students will be better readers, listeners, and mathematicians.

I currently have 20 students in my kindergarten class.

The range in their abilities vary. I have Ell learners, students that have a learning disability, and normal peers. I teach at a Title 1 school which makes most of our families low income. My goal is to brighten their day and enhance their learning.

My Project

My students will use these materials in various ways. I will use these games to introduce literacy and math concepts. The students will also use them during word work, math centers, and small groups with me. These materials will help the students stay engaged while learning important kindergarten concepts. They will help students build skills in order to become a reader and speller. These materials will also help students build fluency in number concepts, addition, subtraction, and in number comparison.

The donations received will be greatly appreciated, and will help me enhance the learning of others.

Everything requested can be used for many years and can reach out to many students. I want to get rid of worksheets and play games to teach my students the skills they need to become successful in kindergarten.
