My Project

Kindergarten is such a fun and exciting grade. Many students learn best while using hands-on tools! Help me give my class a set of blending boards to help practice a variety of skills.

The Science of Reading has proven that using systematic and multisensory teaching practices while teaching students to read is the most effective and engaging method.

I have found that student engagement improves when I use manipulatives in class. My students get excited and are more interested in learning when they are using their hands and actively working during lessons. These boards and manipulatives will provide the hands-on opportunities my students crave in daily phonics instruction. The activities included with these trays will be used during whole group instruction, small groups, and centers.
